About Brooks D
Brooks D is a playful, sweet-hearted pup who lights up every room with his antics. He loves to entertain himself and you by tossing toys in the air and catching them. Think of him as a one-dog comedy show. When he's not clowning around, he’s also a total cuddlebug who enjoys curling up in your lap and sleeping through the night, preferably snuggled close. He’s been doing well with housetraining, having had just one accident, and keeps his kennel clean. Weighing around 25 pounds, Brooks walks nicely on a leash and enjoys the company of other dogs. He recently met a neighbor’s female dog of similar size; after a proper introduction, he playfully bowed and had a great time! Although initially reactive when in his kennel, he has calmed down significantly. Since Brooks is still young and energetic, he would do best in a home without kids. He can be mouthy and sometimes treats hands as toys, so he’ll need continued guidance and consistency. Additionally, he tends to be possessive over food and high-value items, so care is advised during mealtimes. Though gentle when taking treats, he will grow into the loving companion he is meant to be with time, patience, and positive reinforcement. Originally from Texas, this charming little guy is eager to find his forever family!
