Sailor is a lovely 3-year-old Great Dane, weighing 92 lbs. She entered our rescue after being rescued by EMS from a house fire. Sailor is fiercely loyal and brings a playful spirit to her family. Her gentle nature makes her an ideal companion for kids; she has been around young children and is very tolerant, although she might knock them over due to her size when she gets excited. While Sailor enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes, she’s still getting comfortable in new environments and situations. An adopter who is experienced with Great Danes would be a great fit for her, as she'll need ongoing training and support. She’s mostly house trained, but it may take her a moment to adjust to a new routine. Sailor is also crate trained, preferring to relax in her crate when the door is open.
