About Kooper
Kooper spent about a month as a stray, relying on the kindness of neighbors before a caring couple brought him in from the streets. Now he’s ready for his forever home, and he’s just the type of dog who wins everyone over, no matter the crowd. Kooper’s got a long-legged, sometimes awkward style, but don’t let that fool you—he’s all joy and good spirit from nose to tail. People can’t help but fall for his goofy grin and easy-going nature. He enjoys lounging around, splashing in the pool now and then, and snuggling up for a belly rub or a pet session whenever you’ll give one. Squeaky toys and stuffed bears are favorites, though fruit pretending to be a treat will get a hard pass. Kooper is completely house trained and crate trained, knows commands like sit, down, come, stop, wait, and paw, and he’s great on a leash for walks. He does well with other dogs—friendly with new canine pals but respectful if they’d rather be left alone. He shares space with his foster siblings without trouble and loves kids, especially when there’s playtime involved. Kooper is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and he’s just as easygoing as they come. Kooper’s one of those rare dogs who feels like a total find. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
