About Rum

Rum is a stunning mix who, along with her sister Tequila, weighs about 35 lbs each and is around one year old. While it’s difficult to pinpoint their exact breeds, they might be a blend of pointer, heeler, and beagle, possibly with some dalmatian thrown in. Found behind a liquor store as puppies, these girls bring a unique charm with their distinct spots. Although Rum and Tequila are not bonded, they share similar personalities. Both are fantastic with children of all ages; Tequila even loves to sleep by the foster kids' beds. They adore other dogs and adapt well to any home environment, showcasing a balanced demeanor. They've met dogs of all sizes with no issues and show no prey drive around cats, making them potential companions for feline friends. Rum is a bit more active, while Tequila is calmer but still loves to play. Both are crate trained and house trained and enjoy car rides, hinting at their adventurous spirit. They are spayed, heartworm negative, and current on all vaccinations. This is their first shot at adoption, so they've got a lot of love to give. Being located in Texas, they can be transported to adopters in the Central U.S. and the East Coast. The adoption fee includes transportation costs. Each dog has a chance to shine in their forever home, and Rum is all set to meet her new family! Ready to meet Rum and possibly make her your new best friend?
