About Pesto
Meet Pesto! Pesto is a 1-year-old Chihuahua with a huge personality packed into a tiny body. This little guy is bound to keep you entertained. His greatest loves are food and butt scratches, and honestly, it’s hard to say which one he adores more. Mention a snack or start scratching his backside, and you'll quickly become his favorite. Settling beautifully into foster care, Pesto mastered the dog door in no time and is doing great with potty training. He enjoys walks, loves to play with toys, and has enough energy for fun adventures. However, he also knows how to kick back and relax when it's time to settle down. Affectionate and social, he’s great with people but can get a bit nervous when picked up from a standing position. Once he feels secure, his sweet and goofy nature shines. Pesto adored the baby in his foster home, making him an excellent fit for families with children. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship, but he’s perfectly capable of entertaining himself too. Just keep an eye on plush toys; he finds them a fun challenge! While he’s comfortable in a crate and sometimes chooses to hang out there, prospective adopters should know Pesto believes couches and beds are a must. Ready to bring a bundle of joy to your home? Pesto is prepared to spice up your life. He’s being fostered in Mead, Colorado. *Note: We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt; we do not transport dogs.* Click apply to start the adoption process.
