Anubis is a big, scruffy Doodle looking for his forever home. He came to us recently after being surrendered along with his buddy Abu, and it was no fault of theirs. He's incredibly sweet but takes some time to warm up to new people. Having spent his whole life in a home since puppyhood, adapting to the shelter has been quite an adjustment for him. Once he trusts you, though, Anubis will be your biggest fan. He seems to bond more quickly with men, having already made a special connection with our Animal Care Director. Food is definitely the key to his heart. Anubis is highly treat-motivated and thoroughly enjoys snack sessions. We're working on his leash skills, and with the right encouragement, he’s proving to be a quick learner. This boy has a lot of potential and is eager for the right person to help him shine. He’s now accepting applications for his perfect match. Anubis is scheduled to be neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and is up-to-date on vaccines and monthly prevention. He weighs 82 lbs.
