About Tater Tot
Tater Tot lost his owner recently and ended up at the shelter when no one in the family could take him in. He is a 6-year-old, medium-sized Pit Bull Terrier mix with a short, blue and white coat. While Tater Tot hasn’t been neutered yet, he’s on the vet’s waiting list—if he’s adopted before surgery, the adoption fee covers a voucher for the procedure. Despite his difficult circumstances, Tater Tot remains a genuinely nice, friendly dog. He thrives on people’s company, enjoys walks on the leash, and is always gentle taking treats. Lately, he’s been getting medicated baths to improve his skin, so his coat should look better soon. His house training status isn’t known, so plan on teaching him the basics again—maybe you’ll be pleasantly surprised if he already knows them. Tater Tot does well with other dogs at the shelter. The staff doesn’t have information about his experience with kids or cats, so any adopter should bring their entire family—kids, dogs, and even cats if possible—for a meet and greet at the shelter. Tater Tot is ready for a new start and looking for someone to help him settle into a stable home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
