About North
Meet North! North is a petite black-and-white Pit Bull Terrier, around 4 years old, with a gentle nature and a heart that's learning to trust again. When she first arrived at the shelter, she was extremely shut down and trembling from uncertainty. Through the patience and kindness of staff and volunteers, she has made impressive progress, gaining confidence day by day. Although North is still a bit shy, her sweet and affectionate side shines once she feels comfortable. She enjoys staying close to her people and will happily walk by your side. Her calm demeanor makes her an excellent companion for anyone looking for a loyal friend to share their everyday life. North has passed her dog assessment, and if you already have a dog, a meet-and-greet would be ideal to ensure compatibility. Weโre still learning how she reacts to cats. North is seeking a patient adopter who will help her build her confidence while appreciating the loving, devoted companion she already is. If youโre searching for a sweet dog who simply wants to be near her person, North may be the one you've been looking for. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
