About Havana

Meet Havana! This adorable 5-year-old Bichon Frise is on a journey of discovering what love really means. After spending her life as a breeder dog, she’s now experiencing the delights of soft beds, warmth, and the outdoors. Havana is a bit shy at first and needs time to build trust. Once she feels secure, she becomes a loving companion who enjoys snuggling up close, even sharing the bed with her foster mom and other dogs. As she adjusts to home life, she’s learning to interact with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a calm, patient canine buddy to guide her. Occasionally, she tries to direct the other dogs, but she’s gradually understanding friendly boundaries. Potty training is going well, and she also uses doggie pads indoors. Havana is still mastering leash training, requiring a securely fenced yard for exploration as she builds confidence. Her new life is just beginning, and she needs a family willing to offer patience and love while she learns about the world. In return, Havana will become the sweetest companion, full of affection.
