About Flounder
Meet Flounder, a cheerful and lovable boy who has faced some tough times. Rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Georgia, he was at risk of being euthanized due to a mass on his shoulder. Thankfully, a dedicated volunteer reached out, and now Flounder is safe with us, although he requires special care. Unfortunately, the lump is a large mast cell tumor that is deemed inoperable, and the vet suggests he receives palliative care. Flounder is around 5 years old and weighs just over 28 lbs. His friendly personality shines through as he has gotten along with everyone, including other dogs, cats, and even a young child in his foster home. He enjoys walks and loves exploring the outdoors, but most importantly, he craves a loving home for the time he has left. We are looking for a hospice home that can provide him comfort and companionship, as his prognosis ranges from 6 months to a couple of years. If you’re interested in giving Flounder a quality life, please reach out for more information.
