About Chubbs
Chubbs is a small, scruffy terrier mix who came into rescue with his siblings after their owner could not care for them anymore. Though Chubbs was shy and skittish at first, he quickly grew comfortable in foster care and now thrives on routine and attention. He’s about 3 years old and, at just over 20 lbs, the smallest of his litter. While he gets along with his brother and sister, Chubbs is ready to branch out and find his own person. He tends to be a little bossy with new dogs, so proper introductions are a must. Food motivates him, and he’s learned quickly that good things happen around mealtime. Chubbs does well in a crate as long as he gets regular breaks, but he prefers being part of the action and will let you know if he feels left out. True to his terrier roots, he has plenty of energy, loves to run and explore the yard, and enjoys going on walks or hikes once he trusts the person on the other end of the leash. A fenced yard would be a bonus for this curious little guy. He gets along with children and just wants a fresh start where he can be himself and have room to play. Ready to fall in love?
