About Roxy
Roxy is a 1 year old, medium-sized Australian Kelpie/Border Collie mix who's come a long way since her difficult start in Houston. She was rescued as a puppy, along with her brother, and arrived at her foster home in rough shape. But through patience and good care, Roxy has grown into a sweet dog who still believes in brighter days ahead. She is gentle and sensitive with a playful streak, always happy to spend time with other dogs or hang around people. In her foster home, she's learned what it means to be part of a family—she enjoys playtime with her canine friends, cozy naps, and the security of a soft bed. Roxy does best with a gentle touch and reassuring words, especially in new places or around unfamiliar faces, because her past left her a little wary at first. Give her kindness and time, though, and she warms up, showing off her loyalty and gratitude. Roxy is crate trained, fully vetted, and house trained. She gets along well with other dogs and does well with children. While she still needs confidence in new situations, she's eager for a loving, stable home where she can continue to blossom. Roxy is available in Texas, with transport included in her adoption fee. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
