About Rowdy
Rowdy is a goofy, joyful, and adventurous young pit bull mix who brings boundless enthusiasm into every moment. Always the first to clown around, he has a knack for making everyone smile with his upbeat spirit and lively antics. He thrives on play, from endless games of fetch to spirited romps with canine friends – he’s the type who treats each day as a new adventure. Rowdy didn’t have the easiest start, picked up as a stray in rural Caliente and spending a month healing in a shelter. Despite his rough beginnings, his optimism never faded, and now he’s eager to give all his love to a family who will match his energy. He’s happiest in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise, routine, and affection. Rowdy is learning his leash manners and picking up on basic obedience with real enthusiasm – he’s a fast learner, especially when play is part of the reward. If you’re looking for a loyal, bouncy, and loving companion who’ll keep you laughing (and certainly won’t turn down a ball), Rowdy could be your next best friend. Just note, he does great with other dogs but isn’t a fit for homes with cats. Cancers like Rowdy are famous for their big hearts and loyalty. They say every day with Rowdy is a new reason to smile.
