About Galaga
Galaga is a striking Siamese mix who carries herself like feline royalty. At first, she kept her distance, slow to warm up and quick to dart. Give her a few days, though, and she melts for gentle pets, especially those coveted back scratches. She’s still not big on being picked up or showered with kisses, and abrupt movements near her face can be a bit much. Approach her quietly from the side with a hand ready for a slow rub and she rewards you with a contented arch and, if you’re lucky, that wonderful purr she reserves for those she trusts. Most afternoons, you’ll find Galaga romping with her brothers or launching surprise attacks in the tunnel, then quietly waiting nearby, ready to stretch across your lap and soak up attention when the mood strikes. She prefers dry food over wet—her sibling Frogger usually polishes off the canned stuff—but she’s easygoing about mealtime overall. Galaga is well-suited for a home with respectful children, other cats, and even cat-friendly dogs who know how to go slow. Spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, she’s ready to bring her quiet sweetness to the right person’s life. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Kitty City Kansas Rescue is a volunteer, non-profit organization. Visit Galaga and other adoptable cats at their Shawnee, KS adoption center on weekends for a meet and greet.
