AvailableMia is a small, adult female Poodle currently in Brick, NJ. She is spayed, has her vaccinations up to date, and is house trained. Mia has a spirited nature and is looking for a home where her energy and enthusiasm are welcome. She gets along well with both dogs and children, and her adoptive family should be prepared for her playful personality.
About Mia
Mia is a 6-year-old apricot Poodle who tips the scales at 25 pounds and brims with energy and personality. Her early days started in a puppy mill, where she was sold as a 'miniature' but, as is too common in those environments, little attention was paid to her future wellbeing or suitability for families. She ended up with an owner unable to match her activity needs—the lack of a fenced yard and an energetic lifestyle left Mia feeling caged-in. Mia needs a single-family home with a securely fenced yard. Patios or open spaces won’t cut it—she really wants to zoom and play in total safety. She could do well with a playful dog companion who can match her enthusiasm and help burn off some of that zest. Basic training will help her manage her excitement, especially her enthusiastic jumping. Mia genuinely loves people and just wants to be included; she thrives on stimulation and exercise and needs a family who can keep up. If you're active and looking for a playful, sweet companion, Mia could be the perfect match. She’s ready for the next chapter with a family who understands her needs and can help her shine.
