About Orangesicle
Orangesicle started out in a Trap-Neuter-Return program, but there was something about him that made it impossible to send him back outside. When he first arrived, he was all hiss and claws—completely uninterested in people, determined to keep his distance, and ready to defend himself at the first sign of approach. Still, anytime you met his eyes, there was an intensity that lingered beyond the fear. Step by step and day by day, he watched the world around him and the trust between humans and his fellow kittens. He got stories read to him, soft lullabies, treats, and—most importantly—time. It cracked the shell. Eventually, Orangesicle let down his guard just enough to accept a gentle touch, and the transformation was undeniable. Once he realized that affection wasn’t a trap, he leaned right in, making up for lost time with belly rubs and lap sessions. Now he’s a full-on cuddler, seeking out human connection wherever he can, and happily joining in for snoozes and smooches. Orangesicle gets along well with both other cats and dogs, but would also be content as a solo cat soaking up all your attention. He’s affectionate, talkative, and ready to share his new-found love with a family of his own. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
