About Ruger

Ruger, along with his three brothers, lost their mom far too early at just five weeks old. Thankfully, a caring family stepped in and got all nine puppies through puppyhood. While the rest of his litter has found families, Ruger is still waiting for his place to call home. He's a 9-month-old pit/lab/collie mix—large, but with a gentle soul. Ruger tends to be timid when meeting new people, but once comfortable, his sweet and loving nature comes through. He gets along well with other dogs, cats, and kids, so he's well-suited for a variety of households. Ruger is already neutered and vaccinated, so he’s ready to settle in with his new people without delay. If you’re looking for a dog who’s kindhearted and eager for a fresh start, Ruger might be the one. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
