Zinnia
AvailableZinnia is a small, two-month-old female Jack Russell Terrier mix with a black and white/cream short coat, currently in Racine, WI. She is not yet spayed and is up to date on vaccinations. Zinnia is house trained and known to get along well with other animals and children. She is still a puppy, full of playful energy and curiosity. Zinnia is expected to remain small as she grows, taking after her 15-pound mom.
About Zinnia
Zinnia packs a lot of personality into a tiny package. Confident and bold, she's always the first to explore new corners and tackle toys that dwarf her in size. She thrives in the middle of the action, especially when roughhousing with her much bigger foster siblings—Zinnia happily starts the play and keeps everyone on their toes. You'll often see her sprinting around the yard in bursts of energy that seem impossible from such short legs. After playtime, Zinnia loves to curl up in a soft pillow pile with the other dogs or unzip sweet whines for lap time before napping hard. She settles quietly in her crate all night and is always thrilled to greet her humans each morning. At just over 5 lbs and with a mom around 15 lbs (part Jack Russell Terrier, likely part pug and chihuahua), Zinnia will stay small. She's learning potty training: she does her business outside and uses training pads indoors. Zinnia gets along well with cats, dogs, and children. She will require basic obedience training classes, and adopters receive a $50 reimbursement toward those. Vaccinations are up to date. If you’re ready for a petite but fearless companion, Zinnia’s waiting in Racine, WI. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
