About Aslan

Aslan came all the way from Oman after surviving a tough life on the streets. He’s completely blind and has faced more challenges than most, including sickness, injury, and even losing an eye, but none of it has dimmed his spirit. Aslan moves with surprising confidence once he learns his environment. He’s a chatty, loving orange tabby who craves human company, greeting his people with cheerful meows and gentle trills. When he bonds with you, it’s deep and obvious—he’ll curl in your lap, purr in your ear, and seek out every chance to be near you, from the couch to your work-from-home space. Despite his blindness (and being FIV+), Aslan chases toys, finds sunlight, and adapts quickly. He isn’t shy about joining in family life. He’s endlessly affectionate, seeking laps and giving little kisses and headbutts. Aslan has an old-soul demeanor and is described by fosters as truly special and resilient. He’s looking for a quiet indoor home where his gentle, loving nature can shine and he’ll be safe. If you want a companion who gives his whole heart and never lets go, Aslan might be your cat.
