About Hazel
Hazel is a scruffy, sweet pointer mix who was recently surrendered and is searching for a fresh start. The adjustment hasn't been easy—she's shy and a bit overwhelmed by the loud shelter, but she comes around quickly with gentle reassurance. Hazel warms up to people, softens under a kind voice, and soon shows her affectionate, loving side. Volunteers and her previous family agree she's gentle and especially good with children. She already knows a few commands like sit, down, and stay, and she genuinely enjoys earning praise. Hazel isn't house trained yet, but she's young and eager to learn with the right support. She’s up to date on vaccines and will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. At around 7 months old and 35 lbs, she’s a medium-sized dog with black and white coloring and a heart ready for someone patient and kind. Her loyalty and sweetness are obvious once you give her the chance to relax and be herself. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
