Sunny
AvailableSunny is a black and white/cream female Labrador Retriever mix with a short coat, living in Potomac, MD. She is still a baby, currently not house trained and not yet spayed, but she is up-to-date on her age-appropriate vaccines. Her playful spirit and early socialization make her a wonderful companion for a loving home.
About Sunny
Sunny and her littermates were discovered living under an abandoned house at just 5-6 weeks old, quickly finding safety with loving fosters. Now at 7 weeks, Sunny is thriving—petite, playful, independent, and always quick to make her own sunshine. She’s classic lab mix: loving, silly, and busy with the life of a puppy—eating, napping, playing, and causing adorable chaos on repeat. She picks up on new things fast; within days, she started climbing stairs and exploring with confidence. The outdoors calls to her, but when she’s had enough, you’ll find her tucked into a shady spot to cool off. She’s bold, rarely startled, and has already shown an adventurous streak. Sunny is getting the hang of her crate, especially when comforted by a teddy bear at bedtime, which helps her settle through most of the night. At only 5 lbs, she’s growing fast and is ready to be anyone’s loyal, mischievous new sidekick. Sunny gets along well with other dogs, cats, and kids. She isn’t house trained yet and, due to her age, needs someone home most of the day. Adopters must sign a contract to have her spayed at the right time, and a spay/neuter fee is included. Vaccinations are current for her age. This little ray of joy is waiting for someone in the DC/MD/NoVa area ready for life with a resilient, happy pup. Ready to fall in love?
