About Feather
Feather spent the first part of her life focused on raising her puppies, showing a nurturing side that comes naturally to her. Now, at about 1-2 years old, she’s finally ready to be taken care of and enjoy the good things that come with being someone’s beloved pet. Feather weighs in at about 16 pounds and is a Corgi-Chihuahua mix with a compact body, a lively attitude, and a look of gentle determination. She may be small, but she has plenty of energy and likes to start her mornings outside for potty time, play, and a breath of fresh air. Don’t expect her to nap all day—Feather likes a full schedule, alternating hard play with deep rest. Tug-of-war with toys tops her list of favorites, and she happily joins in backyard adventures and any activity involving her humans. House-trained and potty pad–savvy, Feather is smart and keeps herself occupied if her humans are distracted—sometimes with the odd bit of paper left around. She adapts well to spending her nights curled up on the sofa, her spot of choice. This is a dog that fully embraces affection, isn’t shy about asking for attention, and hands out her loyalty freely. She thrives on contact and would excel in a home that wants to include her in daily fun and adventure. Feather gets along well with children and other dogs, which makes her a match for many family setups. She’s not looking to be the background presence—she wants to be right in the middle of things. After months of caring for others, Feather is ready to be spoiled and loved in equal measure. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
