About Venice

Venice is an eight-week-old puppy in Richmond, VA, surrendered with her littermates after an unexpected arrival. With parents said to be a husky, lab, pit, and golden retriever mix, she’s truly one of a kind. Her puppy energy is off the charts—she loves to play, snuggle, and look up at you with those pleading, droopy eyes. Venice is gentle with kids, adores other dogs, and is always in search of attention, whether it’s flopping onto your lap for belly rubs or trailing behind you like it’s her job. Venice has started learning basic commands like "sit" and is making progress with crate and potty training, using pee pads more often every day. She isn’t shy about sharing space with her puppy brother and will nap on top of him when she needs a break from chewing shoelaces or exploring the yard. Cuddle time is her favorite, and she’s just as happy giving kisses as she is receiving them. She is up to date on all age-appropriate vetting, dewormed, and on monthly preventatives. Spay will be arranged as age-appropriate and is included in her adoption fee. Adopters must commit to ongoing training and be close enough to attend a spay appointment in Richmond or Virginia Beach. Ready to love and be loved, Venice is looking for a committed family to be her sidekick for life. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
