About Ollie
Ollie is a small, young terrier mix around 2 years old and about 11 lbs, recently rescued from a hoarding situation in Mesquite. He's still learning the ropes of home life and isn't leash trained or housebroken yet, so whoever brings him home will need to be patient and willing to work through basic training. Ollie has lived his life with other dogs and must go to a home with at least one friendly resident dog and a secure yard. He thrives best in a quieter household without children under 10, as that's what he's used to. While initially timid, Ollie warms up and shows his friendly side given time and a calm environment. He comes neutered, with up-to-date vaccinations, a microchip, and some great post-adoption support to help him settle in. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Ollie
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Ollie, as a terrier mix, is best suited for a calm home with a secure yard and at least one other friendly dog. Terriers often need a predictable environment to feel safe, especially those with timid or shy personalities.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Terrier mixes like Ollie appreciate a secure yard where they can get fresh air and exercise, but don't require sprawling acreage. A small, well-fenced yard suits them, especially while working on leash skills.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Ollie should not be placed with children younger than 10 due to his lack of exposure to kids and his sensitive history. Terriers in general can be okay with children, but in Ollie's case, a quiet adult home is best.
