About Teddy

Teddy is around two years old and weighs about 11 lbs. He was part of a large neglect case and has grown up with little exposure to the wider world. Teddy is friendly but can be timid, and he's not leash trained. He will need a quiet home—no children under 10, because that's completely new territory for him. A home with at least one social, confident dog is also required, along with a secure yard for safety. Teddy isn't housebroken and has not had training, so patience is a must. He needs someone ready to show him the basics and give him time to gain confidence. Teddy’s new family should expect to go slow and work closely with him as he gets used to a more typical home life—there’s a sweet dog underneath all that caution. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Adoption events take place on weekends in Las Vegas, NV, and you’re encouraged to bring your other dog(s) and the whole family for a meet and greet. Teddy comes with 30 days of post-adoption support. Give him time, and he’ll show you what he’s really capable of. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
