About Benny

Benny is a small terrier mix, about 2 years old and currently in Las Vegas, NV. He came to rescue from a hoarding/cruelty case, so he hasn’t seen much of the world. Benny is friendly but tends to be a bit timid at times. He hasn’t had much exposure to children, and a home without young kids (under 10) is required—it’s simply what he’s used to. Benny is not leash-trained or housebroken, and he’ll need an adopter ready to teach him basic skills with patience and consistency. A quieter, calm home will suit him best, and he absolutely needs another social dog in the home for companionship and guidance. A secure yard is also necessary. His new family should expect to work with him, move at his pace, and help him build confidence. Benny is neutered, vaccinated, and comes with added post-adoption support to help him settle in. Questions about Benny

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Benny, as a small terrier mix, does best in a stable home that’s calm and patient. Because of his background, a quieter household with at least one friendly dog and without small children is ideal.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

Terrier mixes like Benny enjoy having a secure yard to explore, especially since he is still learning about the world and isn’t leash trained yet. A modest, safe outdoor area is important for his comfort and development.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

Benny needs a home without children under 10, mainly because he’s not used to them and may be nervous around young kids. Terrier mixes can fit in with kids in the right circumstances, but Benny's background calls for an adult-oriented home.
