About Gale
Gale is a resilient, joyful soul who has come a long way to find her second chance. Once an owner surrender facing euthanasia, she’s since bounced back with remarkable spirit. Now fully vetted and healthy after completing heartworm treatment, Gale is ready for her forever family. She’s a Staffordshire Terrier mix, about five years old, but her energy often seems much younger. With a weight of around 60 lbs and a short coat highlighted by white, cream, and black, she turns heads wherever she goes. Gale’s personality is a standout: she’s sweet, playful, and equally content curled up for quiet snuggles as she is making new friends, both canine and human. When she’s excited—especially on meeting new people or pups—her whole body wiggles with joy. After that initial burst of enthusiasm, she settles into a loyal, affectionate companion. Gale truly enjoys the company of other dogs and loves all people. A few requirements come with adopting her: all existing pets must be spayed/neutered, and any resident dogs must have a consistent, verifiable record of heartworm prevention. Gale is looking for someone who can give her that coveted permanent spot on the couch and a safe, loving home. She’s based in Houston, TX, but her adoption fee covers out-of-state transport if needed. Your new best friend is just one click away.
