About Cloud
Cloud has come a long way since her rescue. She’s a one-year-old female Great Pyrenees with an affectionate, gentle presence. After surviving neglect, Cloud now weighs a healthy 45 pounds, thanks to good care and plenty of love in her foster home. She’s shown her playful side—she loves toys, sometimes shoes, and will even play fetch. Cloud zealously follows the resident dog and welcomes meeting new people and friendly dogs, though she’s still learning to trust tall men in hats, a likely leftover from her past. With children, she’s relaxed and gentle, and her foster notes she’s house trained and thrives on daily walks. Cloud can be excitable, getting the zoomies or barking when neighborhood dogs raise the alarm, but she settles well with encouragement. When left home, she hangs out in the kitchen with her toys and does just fine, showing good house manners. Cloud has a slight prey drive, so a thoughtful introduction to cats is a must. This is a happy, resilient girl looking for a family that will cherish her growth and continue her journey. She’s in Garland, TX and spayed with all vaccinations current. Out-of-area adopters must arrange transportation. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
