About Shrimp Scampi

Ciao! Shrimp Scampi is a 9-week-old Siberian Husky mix who has taken to shelter life with boundless curiosity and playful drive. Picked up as a stray, his past is a mystery, but he’s made it clear he believes life is one big adventure. True to his name, he has an appetite for action and no shortage of puppy energy—if he wasn’t born to run, he was at least born to bounce. He’ll benefit from patient guidance as he learns his adult-dog basics: leash manners, housetraining, social cues, and (ideally) how not to steal your pasta. If you have other dogs, plan a slow introduction and a meet-and-greet at the shelter so everyone can start off right. Shrimp Scampi is currently available for preadoption and will be ready to go home after his neuter surgery. Each adoption also comes with a $200 Pawsitivity Bucks training voucher to help set you both up for success. Shelter hours are 11–6pm daily, with meet-and-greets ending at 4:30pm — arrive early if you want a proper introduction. Let’s make Shrimp Scampi’s next adventure his homecoming.
