About Ringo
Meet Ringo. Picked up as a stray in rough shape, he bounced between uncertainty before landing with PACC, and he is now thriving. Forget what you heard about aggressionāRingo is the ultimate playgroup dog. He clicks instantly with other medium to large dogs and brings out everyone's best side in a big romp. The more canine housemates, the happier and more at-ease he seems. His DNA results are a full color wheel of breeds: heavy on German Shepherd and Husky, with hints of Chow Chow, Aussies, Pit Bull, Samoyed, Akita, Doberman, Rottweiler, and more. Bottom line: Ringo is big (about 85 lbs), good-looking, and full of quirky moves, like stirring his water bowl with his paw before a drink. Ringo's not all brawnāhe's deeply affectionate and a bit of a goofball. He does have separation anxiety, so he fits best with homebody types who appreciate loyalty and want a companion by their side, not left alone for hours. With another dog to keep him company, he calms down, but still prefers not to be solo. Walks are easyāhe sticks close and doesn't pull. Ringo would not be a fit in homes with cats or very young kids (under 10). A home with a high, secure fence and ideally another medium to large dog will set him up for the best life. Donāt expect him to be a party animal outsideāhis favorite crowd are the dogs already at home and the people he trusts. If you want a loyal, goofy, athletic companion to turn up the energy and affection in your home, Ringo might be what youāre looking for. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
