About Sarah
Sarah stands out as a three-month-old Calico with short, sleek fur, little nose freckles, and distinct cuff-like markings on her wrists. She’s the leggy athlete of her kitten family, quick to leap and always ready to chase after her sisters. Wrestling is fun for her, but she loves the speed of the chase most. Sarah enjoys being petted and tolerates being carried or cuddled in brief spurts before she’s ready to play again. Raised with siblings and her young, energetic mom, Sarah thrives in group play. She chirps for her littermates if they wander off, and when called, the family comes running—she likes to be surrounded by companions. She’s not been around dogs or small children yet, but should adapt well to gentle, well-supported kids and calm, cat-friendly dogs. Sarah is especially bonded to her tiny sister Mirette, nearly her twin, and would do best adopted with a sister or her mom. At minimum, she must join a household with another young cat or kitten for companionship. The rescue has strong policies about kitten placement: all kittens must live with a young feline friend to support healthy social development. Sarah is ready for her next home in Chicago, IL, and as a March 2nd birthday, she’s a Pisces—curious yet sensitive. Everything she needs is done: spayed, tested, microchipped, vaccinated, and house trained. Click apply to start the adoption process.
