Stella is a 6-year-old German Shepherd with a strong, lively spirit and a heart that welcomes everyone. She never hesitates to greet a new face and thrives when she's the center of activity. High energy is her default; she adores fetch, explores every corner of the yard, and takes any opportunity to showcase her intelligence. Stella already knows commands like sit, shake, down, spin, and speak, and she lights up when there's a treat on the line—though she's still learning to be a bit more gentle about taking them. Stella gets along well with other dogs and would do best in a home without cats. Because she can be a little too rambunctious, she's suited to homes with children aged 16 or older. A large, securely fenced yard is a must—she needs the space to burn off energy. Previous experience with German Shepherds is a major plus for her adopter. Despite being heartworm positive and currently in treatment (at no cost to her new family), Stella remains as affectionate and spunky as ever, eager to make someone smile every day.
