About Ace
Meet Ace! Ace is a 5-year-old Australian Shepherd with all the best qualities of the breed rolled into one. He weighs in at about 35 pounds and sports a classic long tricolor coat. Smart and loyal, Ace loves learning new things—he already knows 'sit' and will do just about anything for a treat. He thrives on having a job and genuinely enjoys hanging out with his people. Easy-going and relaxed for an Aussie, Ace doesn’t have the anxious or excitable streak some herding dogs do. He’s great with other dogs and remains unbothered by cats in the house. He’s playful but not wild. His foster mom likes to call him her little shadow, because he’ll quietly follow you everywhere, always wanting to be close. Ace is house-trained and crate-trained, though he definitely prefers companionship to solitude. He forms deep connections and wants to join in with whatever you do—whether it’s rides in the car, walks around the block, or just lounging at home. Ace is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and will come with a health certificate. If you’re after a sharp, devoted, and gentle companion, Ace is one to meet. They are waiting with paws crossed!
