About Carmen
Carmen and her littermates had an uphill start, but now they're thriving and ready for new homes. Still just a baby, Carmen stands out with her smooth chocolate coat, tan markings, and those signature forehead wrinkles that make her look perpetually concerned—though she's mostly just hungry for dinner. Her entire group is well socialized, active, and loves playing outside, snuggling up with people, and exploring new spaces. Carmen has plenty of puppy energy and needs a family ready to continue house training, crate work, and positive reinforcement training methods. Like her siblings, Carmen is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives, and she's microchipped. She'll go home with a spay contract to ensure she's old enough for surgery when the time is right. Adoption through this rescue requires that adopters live within 175 miles of the Quad Cities, and all current pets in the home must be fixed and consistently vaccinated. Carmen is not yet house trained and will need continued guidance as she grows. She gets along well with other dogs and children, making her a strong fit for many family types. Meet-and-greets are scheduled, not walk-in, so plan ahead if you want to meet her. Ready to welcome Carmen home? Your new best friend is just one click away.
