About Myron

Myron is a large, sweet-natured, 8-year-old male hound/retriever mix. Recently returned to the rescue after his adopter could no longer care for him, he settled in beautifully to his foster home. Myron asks politely to go outside and keeps himself tidy. He gets along well with cats and enjoys a quiet life—his favorite activities include spending time in his blanket-lined crate, napping, and accompanying you as a watchful supervisor in the kitchen or garden. He prefers company over toys, although he does get a little spark of excitement with a treat-dispensing ball. Fiercely loyal, Myron forms strong bonds with his person and thrives in calm, low-key environments. This gentle guy doesn’t need much excitement, just some short strolls and your companionship. Volunteers and staff always remark on how easy he is to love. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
