About Lisa

Lisa is a mini Goldendoodle who came into rescue after her previous person passed away, leaving her and another similar dog in a tough spot. She spent years in a hoarding environment, severely neglected, overweight, and matted. Since her rescue, Lisa has been cared for, cleaned up, and is now at a steady, healthy weight. Her coat, once neglected, is now trimmed and much easier to handle. Despite everything, Lisa is a surprisingly social girl. She enjoys meeting people and has shown a gentle, sweet nature with everyone, including those grooming her for the first time. Lisa and her friend Sassy do well together or apart, so she's available for adoption alone or with her buddy if you have room for two. She still needs to learn house training but is adjusting quickly to new routines. Lisa is now waiting in Santa Rosa, CA, looking for a home where she can finally have the care she deserves.
