About Sassy
Sassy is a mini Goldendoodle with a curly golden coat who, along with another dog named Lisa, came from a very difficult background after their owner passed away. Both girls spent years in a hoarding situation, left obese and matted, but they’ve come a long way since rescue stepped in. Sassy’s life has changed drastically: she’s been groomed for the first time, lost weight, and settled into a healthy size, though she could use a little more trimming down. Despite everything, she’s a surprisingly social and gentle dog with people, and she’s handled grooming remarkably well, considering her past. Sassy and Lisa get along with each other, but don’t depend on one another and are happy on their own if adopted separately. Sassy still requires consistent care, a safe home, and continued socialization, but she’s eager for a new start. She isn’t house trained yet. Sassy is in Santa Rosa, CA, and looking for her next chapter. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
