About Peaches

Peaches was found abandoned with her puppy, Cream, in Polk County and landed safely in Salem, OR, where she's hoping for a real home. She’s a small Pug/Chihuahua mix around one and a half years old, very attached to her people and happiest with attention—she’ll lean into head scratches and belly rubs any chance she gets. Peaches bonds tightly, trailing her person and seeking out all the closeness she can get. She fits in nicely with other dogs, loving outdoor games and fast play. She’s crate trained, content through the night and settles in easily when needed. Peaches can get excited when she comes out and will leap up to greet you, but she’s learning her manners and picking up commands quickly, especially since she’s motivated by treats. She’s alert but not excessive with barking and enjoys burning energy outside. Her playful side comes out especially with puppies, sometimes on the rough side, but never crossing into aggression. Peaches is sweet, loyal, and ready to bond with her new family. She gets along with both dogs and children, making her a great option for an active household. Ready to make her part of your crew?
