About Clyde
Clyde is a striking 3-year-old gray Weimaraner with a commanding and affectionate presence, weighing in at about 100 pounds. He’s a big-hearted goofball who lives for head scratches, leans on you for affection, and gets a kick out of playtime—especially a good wrestling session with his person. Clyde comes with several weeks of professional training under his belt. He knows "place,” is crate trained, has solid leash manners, and is potty trained. He’s even clicker-conditioned to "Watch Me," making him a great fit for anyone interested in trick training or further obedience work. He does best with clear structure and a confident adopter who understands strong, intelligent working breeds. If left to his own devices, Clyde will happily make his own rules, so an adopter ready to provide consistent guidance will bring out his best side. He's eager to please and devoted once routines are set. He doesn’t enjoy trips to the vet but has been making steady progress with patient and positive reinforcement. Clyde should be the only dog in the home, and he isn’t suited for households with small children. He’s seeking either a foster or adopter willing to work alongside his trainer in the DFW area. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with lots of potential and personality, Clyde is ready to join your life. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
