AvailableNevada is a male Corgi puppy, about 5 months old and currently living in Thompson Falls, MT. Nevada is comfortable with other dogs and will benefit from a gentle home that understands puppies still learning their way.
About Nevada
Nevada arrived with his pal Carolina from a Texas shelter, and these two six-month-old Corgi puppies have barely left each other’s side. They are truly bonded, so the goal is to keep them together in their next chapter. Both look nearly purebred, though that’s not guaranteed without a DNA test. When they first landed here, Nevada and Carolina were visibly nervous and hadn’t met many people before—but they have shown more comfort around other dogs. Slowly, these siblings are figuring out new sounds and daily bustle. At the moment, each weighs about 12–15 pounds, and adults will likely land near 20 pounds or a touch more. Nevada is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready to step into a patient, quieter home that can guide him gently into family life. Since neither is leash trained, a fenced yard would make sense. He gets along well with other dogs. If adopted with Carolina, they bring double the puppy charm and the comfort of their strong bond. Questions about Nevada
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Nevada, as a Corgi, is generally happiest in a home where he has access to family activity and enough space to explore. These dogs are adaptable, but a quieter household will be best for Nevada given his background and early socialization needs.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Corgis like Nevada enjoy having a secure outdoor area to play and exercise. A fenced-in yard is ideal, especially since Nevada is still learning to walk on a leash.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Corgis can be good with children, but since Nevada is timid and still getting used to new people, a calmer home—maybe with older, gentle kids—would help him settle in.
