About Punkin
Meet Punkin, a 4-year-old Chihuahua weighing just 6.5 pounds but packing a bright, outsized personality. Punkin joined the rescue after her previous owner could no longer manage her veterinary needs due to a slipped disc in her neck. With proper medication, rest, and attention, she’s bounced back beautifully and is now looking for a loving place to call home. Punkin is devoted and adores cuddling with her foster mom, seeking warmth and security under blankets whenever she can. She’s happiest when she’s right next to her person, makes a great companion for car rides and slow walks, and likes to keep a steady routine. A true Chihuahua in spirit, Punkin bonds deeply and wants to be the center of her person’s world, so she’s best suited as the only dog in a home where someone is home most of the day to dote on her. She’s sweet, affectionate, strong-willed, and unafraid to communicate her likes and dislikes. She appears to be house trained and isn’t destructive when left alone for short periods. Punkin is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccines. If you’re looking for an extremely loyal, little companion who will thrive on being your closest friend, Punkin might just be the one. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
