About Gabby
Gabby is a young, medium-sized beagle mix with brown and white fur and a short coat. She spent her early days growing up in a shelter and is now journeying into home life for the first time, so most things outside the kennel walls feel new and pretty overwhelming at first. Gabby needs a patient adopter willing to let her proceed at her own pace—slow, gentle introductions are essential, especially with new people, as she’s prone to shyness and startles easily. Once Gabby settles in and starts to trust you, her goofy, curious nature shows up—she’s been known to puzzle over her own reflection in the mirror and brings out a surprisingly playful and affectionate side. Loud noises and change can unsettle her, so a calm, steady environment is best. Gabby currently gets along with other dogs but her comfort with cats and kids hasn’t been tested. She is still learning house training and her future family should expect to continue working on this with compassion and structure. Gabby’s looking for someone who values growth over perfection and is ready to invest the time and consistency she needs. She has yet to be spayed but is up to date on her vaccines. If you’re seeking a loyal companion who will reward patience with true devotion, Gabby could be a great fit. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

Questions about Gabby
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Gabby, as a beagle mix, tends to do well in homes that provide a stable routine and a gentle, quiet atmosphere, especially given her current need for slow introductions and time to adjust.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Beagle mixes like Gabby benefit from regular walks and playtime, but she’ll be fine in a home with a small yard or with frequent trips outside, as long as she gets opportunities to explore safely.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Beagle mixes are generally friendly, but Gabby's comfort with children hasn’t been tested yet. Families with older, dog-savvy kids who can respect her space would be best.
