About Ollie
Ollie is a 2ā3-year-old Shepherd mix with the unique ability to be both a go-anywhere adventurer and the first one to settle in for a good cuddle. Weighing about 40 pounds, heās the perfect size for someone who wants a companion that can keep up outside and also stretch out on the couch. Ollie naturally sticks close to his people and finds happiness in staying by your side, wherever that might be. When Ollie first landed in foster care, he was quietāalmost reservedāyet immediately open to affection. It didnāt take long for his playful side to show as he grew confident. Heās fully house trained, has not had accidents, and knows the ākennelā cue, happily entering his crate or napping calmly outside of it for hours. Ollie gets along well with other dogs and lights up when he spots one on a walk. He has not met cats or children, so introductions should be slow and thoughtful. He isnāt the type to settle for a quick lap around the block. Ollie needs multiple walks a day and his adopter should have a fenced yard to give him room to run. He thrives on outings, sniffing everything, or tackling a puzzle toy. He loves anything soft or crinkly, and is easily entertained chasing tennis ballsāeven if the concept of fetch hasnāt quite clicked yet. Heās ready to join you in all your daily activities, then sink into the nearest soft spot by evening. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
