About Monchi

Monchi is a 6-month-old Jack Russell Terrier who just arrived in Agoura Hills, CA after being rescued from unimaginably harsh conditions in South Korea. She and many others narrowly escaped a grim fate on a meat farm, coming from environments few dogs survive. These farms raise dogs in wire cages, using them for breeding or selling them off if they don’t attract a buyer as puppies. The journey Monchi has taken to reach safety wasn’t easy, and she's one of the lucky few to have a second chance. Despite her tough start, Monchi’s personality shines through—she’s remarkably sweet and eager for a loving family. Monchi gets along with other dogs, cats, and children, making her a solid candidate for a multi-pet or family household. She’s house trained, spayed, and ready for a new life in a real home.
