About Waffles
Waffles—also known as Waffie—is an 8-month-old Great Dane with a big goofy heart and an even bigger smile. He thrives on companionship with other dogs, especially fellow Danes, and will only be placed in a home with another Great Dane. That’s not negotiable—he needs a buddy who speaks his language for romping and lounging. Waffles is dog friendly with all breeds, but he especially shines with his fellow giants. On walks, Waffles is easygoing and well-socialized. He loves new people, greets everyone warmly, and easily charms with his gentle, affectionate manner. At home, he’ll lean in for pets, bring a playful energy, and keep the mood light with silly antics typical of a young Dane. He’s housebroken, takes treats gently, and has grown up around children—he does well with both kids and adults. Waffles hasn’t been neutered yet due to his age and size, so his adoption will start as foster-to-adopt until he’s old enough for surgery. He’s not a marker, so waiting is no issue. He’s looking for a home ready to welcome a loving, joyful, and well-mannered Dane puppy—plus a cuddle-loving canine sibling. Ready for lots of love and even more couch napping? Think Waffie.
