Kiara
AvailableKiara is a young, large mixed-breed Collie and Hound currently in Merriam, KS. She’s a spayed female who is house trained, and she impresses everyone with her playful spirit and clever personality.
About Kiara
Kiara is a long-legged beauty who stands out the moment you meet her. Young and unmistakably striking, she’s smart and full of personality. She’s picked up all the basics — sit, down, shake, and even a one-directional rollover — from her time in the Paws for Parole program and could use a little refresher, but her quick mind makes it an easy task. Kiara loves her chew toys, enjoys kennel time, and has a great history of playing with kids and neighboring dogs. She’s not much of a chaser when it comes to squirrels or outside cats, which is a major win if you have other animals in the area. Kiara’s need for an active, involved family became clear after her owners’ work routines changed, leaving her home and kenneled too often. For a large, lively dog like her, that’s just not a good fit — she thrives on attention, long walks, and having someone able to handle her size, ideally older teens or adults. She’s open-hearted, loyal, and waiting on a real chance to show just how much she has to give. Ready to see what a “really good girl” looks like? Click apply to start the adoption process.
