About Johnna

Meet Johnna, a 2-3-year-old Shepherd/Hound mix weighing about 60 pounds. She’s got a lively personality and a lot of affection to give. Johnna thrives on outdoor adventure—she loves exploring, running, and spending time with her foster family on their farm. After a fun day, she enjoys relaxing with her people, blending her active side with plenty of downtime. Smart and curious, Johnna knows her basic commands (she’ll sit pretty if there’s a treat) and is eager to keep learning. She needs a family who’ll keep her mind and body engaged, not just a place to lounge all day. Johnna is crate trained and will often head to her crate for a break, door open or closed. She gets along well with her foster dog siblings but would be happiest as the only dog in her future home, soaking up all the attention herself. Johnna is spayed, microchipped, crate trained, and up to date on vaccines and monthly preventatives. She is being fostered in Afton, TN, but her foster family can transport her to approved adopters across Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania, New York, and much of New England (excluding Massachusetts).
