About Max
Meet Max! Max’s got plenty of personality packed into his small, long-coated frame—at about 20 pounds, he’s the kind of little guy who soaks up all the attention in the room. He’s likely a mix of Havanese, Bichon, or even Poodle, but whatever the combination, he’s equal parts charm and affection. Always up for an adventure, Max loves riding in the car, tagging along with his people whether at home or on the go. He gets along well with just about anyone—friendly with dogs, cats, and children—so he fits in most homes without much fuss. He still needs more practice with house training and benefits from a routine, so his future family should be patient while he gets the hang of it. Max is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines and is heartworm negative, making him ready to start his next chapter. Active, outgoing, and eager to be included—Max is always happiest right in the thick of things and enjoys being with his people. He’s currently fostered in Tennessee but his foster family will transport him personally to approved adopters in Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania, New York, or much of New England (except Massachusetts).
