About Teddy
Meet Teddy! Teddy hasn’t had the easiest start, but he’s kept his sweet and gentle spirit. As he learns to trust people, he’s discovering just how good it feels to get a soft pet, a cuddle, or to find someone waiting just for him. You’ll notice him right away—his soft, fluffy coat and that goofy grin are hard to miss. He may not jump in your lap on his own, but if you lift him up for a snuggle, he melts happily and loves to relax by your side. Teddy is reliable in the house and keeps things tidy: fully potty trained, crate trained, and never destructive. At night, he heads straight for his crate and sleeps soundly. He doesn’t struggle with separation anxiety. Leash walks are his favorite—he strolls calmly beside you, never pulling, and enjoys a laid-back pace. Otherwise, you’ll find him napping on the sofa or curled up with you on the bed. Because of a rough past, Teddy can be wary of new faces and situations. When visitors come, he may bark nervously or hang back. He takes a daily anxiety medication to help him keep building confidence, and having a safe, quiet spot to retreat to makes a big difference. He’ll thrive in a calm, adult-only home where life is steady and patient encouragement is the norm. Earn Teddy’s trust and you’ll have a loyal friend who loves deeply and sticks close. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
