About Stuart
Meet Stuart! Stuart turned a tough start—a broken leg—into a story of resilience. He’s bounced back, fully healed, and now wants humans who appreciate endless cuddles, wet kisses, and the chaos only a true stuffy destroyer can bring. Shepherd mix, but don’t try to tell him about “personal space.” Your lap isn’t too small, he’ll just settle in and sprawl anyway. He loves a good bone, will tear through Kongs, and has a special talent for un-stuffing toys with zest. Other dogs are his favorite—he’s looking for a home with a playful canine buddy, though his people are always his top priority. House trained, crate trained, leash savvy, and a graduate of a full 8-week training course, Stuart is smart but sometimes acts like a goof—think big, lovable, clumsy guy who's eager for adventure. He needs experienced adopters who get that “big silly dog” energy, and does best with adults or families whose kids are at least 6. He’s fine in a foster-to-adopt situation so you can make sure it’s the right fit. No info about cats yet, but slow introductions should help him settle in. Currently thriving in a foster home, he’s excited to meet his next forever family. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
